During an office trip to Japan, he makes a wish at a ‘Fortune Bell’ — and fate, in its own strange way, seems to answer. An accident causes Meera to temporarily lose her memory, and in that vulnerable state, she begins to believe that Dinesh is her boyfriend.
The entire film is built around this fragile, bittersweet premise. It is, notably, a Hindi remake of a Thai film — and that fact alone became the starting point for much of the criticism that followed.

However, even this critical voice found something to praise: “Junaid Khan does manage to make his character somewhat relatable to the audience.” In the current climate, that small concession carries more weight than it might seem.
Some Viewers Were Won Over — “This Film Speaks to the Heart”
Not all the reactions were negative. A quieter but genuine wave of appreciation also came through, particularly from viewers who went in looking for a straightforward romantic experience.
