That incident turned their world upside down. But amid that grief, a ray of hope has now arrived.

Recently, Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind and wife Sneha Reddy visited Sritej directly at his home. They enquired about his health, spent time with the family, and assured them of continued support.
This was not a courtesy call. According to media reports, Allu Aravind made it clear that the family would stand by Sritej until he makes a full recovery and would provide every possible help along the way.
A Promise to Fund His Sister’s Education
One more significant thing came out of this visit. Allu Aravind also promised to bear the expenses of Sritej’s younger sister’s education.
This is not a small gesture — especially when the family’s breadwinner, their mother, is no longer alive. It signals that the family is thinking beyond immediate relief and considering the long-term wellbeing of those affected.

In December 2024, during the release of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, massive crowds gathered at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre after Allu Arjun himself turned up for the screening. The crowd spiralled out of control, and in the resulting stampede, Sritej was seriously injured. His mother Revathi did not survive.
Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with the incident, though he was later granted bail. The case is currently being heard in court. The episode drew significant attention both legally and socially, sparking a wider debate about crowd management at public events.
Pushpa 2 — Blockbuster Success, Tragic Shadow
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ earned approximately Rs 1,234 crore in India and around Rs 1,742 crore worldwide, making it the biggest Indian film of 2024. Allu Arjun starred alongside Rashmika Mandanna, who played a key role in the film.
But overshadowing that massive success was the stampede that raised serious questions.
